Judy Ann Green, age 64, of Mangum, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 4, 2017, at Plantation Village Care Center, in Altus.
Mrs. Green was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on October 22, 1952, to Carl C. and Virgie F. (Martin) Ward. After graduating from high school, she married James A. Green who was with the U.S. Military. Living in several different locations, Judy settled in Greer County in the early 1980"s. Shortly thereafter, Judy attended Southwest Technology Center where she obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing license and worked as a nurse in several different locations. In the late 90"s her health began to fail and she worked until it became impossible.
Preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, she is survived by two sons, Dustin Green and wife Amy of Okinawa and Daniel Green and wife Amanda of Mangum; four grandchildren, Dalen, Aleigh, Jade and Zachary; one sister, Carol Gilbaugh of Mangum along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Judy Green will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church of Mangum.
