Obituary for Jubil Jesse Hinton
Jubil Jesse Hinton age 88 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 19, 1917 in Blair, Oklahoma to Mart Hinton and Auban "Jack" (Potts) Hinton.

Jubil proudly served in the Army Air Corps from February 10, 1942 until January 13, 1946 and was a tow Target Reel Operator during World War ll.

After serving his country he married Oletta O. Brown on July 20, 1947.

Jubil farmed until 1960 then moved to Altus, where he and Oletta resided. He worked at Altus Air Force Base as a Civil Service employee, and retired in January 1985.

He was a member of the American Legion and DAV. Jubil enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Oletta of the home in Altus, one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Margaret Hinton of Altus, Oklahoma, one brother Bud Hinton and wife Gladys of Grandview, Washington; two grandchildren Tammy Wilson and husband Mike Ray Wilson of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Jason Ray Bouchard of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildre and one great-great grandchild.

Graveside services for Jubil Hinton is scheduled for Friday, March 11, 2005 at 10:00am at Victory Cemetery with Ardron Hinton officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
