Obituary for Juanita Perez Garcia
Juanita Garcia, age 76 of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at English Village Nursing Home in Altus.
Juanita was born on July 1, 1942 in Mission, Texas to her parents Rafel Perez Jr. and Maria G. Guadalupe Garcia. On April 6, 1959 Juanita married Felipe Garcia in Blackfoot, Idaho and they enjoyed over 35 years of marriage together living in Texas and Oklahoma before Felipe's death on March 9, 1994. She was a loving mother to her children and she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Juanita loved the holidays, she loved to cook and sew, work on arts and crafts, and she enjoyed shopping trips to Walmart and Hobby Lobby. Watching movies and her Dallas Cowboys, were some of Juanita's favorite pastimes. Juanita also enjoyed sitting outside on her porch bench enjoying the nice weather and she loved listing to George Strait and Elvis Presley. Juanita was a very caring and strong woman with a big heart and she loved spending time with her family, her children, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she will be missed very much.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Felipe Garcia, parents Rafel Perez Jr., Maria Guadalupe Garcia, one daughter; Maria Orlia Garcia, two brothers; Bibian M. Perez, Porfirio Perez, one sister; Alicia Perez. Juanita is survived by four sons; Felipe Garcia Jr., Rolando Garcia, Jorge Garcia, Felix Garcia, two daughters; Sylvia Garcia, Margarita Garcia, one brother; Robert Perez, one sister; Raquel Garcia, eight grandchildren; Dylan Garcia, Jorge Garcia Jr., Michael Garcia, Isaac Garcia, Star San Miguel, Fiona Nunez, Blake Nunez, Rollin Nunez, nine great grandchildren; Ja'Lynn, Valarie, Viviana, Elijah, Blake Jr., Aaron, Frankie, Rollin Jr., and Sunny.
Rosary Wake services will be on Thursday evening, June 7, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel in Altus.
Funeral Mass services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 8, 2019 at the Price of Peace Catholic Church in Altus.
Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
