Josephine C. Cogdell. age 98 of Altus, passed away August 25. 2001. Funeral services are set for 10:00am Tuesday at the Lowell-Tims funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Altus City Cemetery.

Josephine C. Cogdell was born on November 4, 1902 to Edward Nall and Fannie Nall in Waurika, Oklahoma. The following year Oklahoma became a state. She was blessed with two sisters Edwina Brandon and Lilly Mae Taylor, both deceased. Likewise, Mrs Cogdell had three brothers, Edward Nall, Bunce Nall and Henry Nall, all deceased. Two nieces, Jerry Marilyn Clark and Sheridan Drowatzky survive Mrs. Cogdell. Two sons and heir wives also survive Mrs. Cogdell. They are Joe B, Cogdell and his wife Sue Cogdell and I.B. Cogdell Jr. and his wife Judy Cogdell. This pioneer lady had four grandchildren, Dan Cogdell Blake Cogdell, Joe B. Cogdell Jr. and Ann (Cogdell) Miles.
