Joseph was born on July 24, 1971, to his parents, Arthur Jackson Sr., and Rebeca Raiden Crosby. He grew up in Altus mainly, but also had ties in Texas, having lived in Dallas and Amarillo. Joseph also stayed in Ardmore, OK where he studied mechanics at a vocational school. In addition to being a mechanic, Joseph was also an avid chef and worked for the Michelin Tire Plant in Ardmore.
When he wasn't working, he enjoyed rapping, dancing, making music and always had his music box with him. On a deeper level, Joseph loved his family and friends, particularly, his precious children; sons: Joetavious, Joseph Jr., Jo'Sean and daughters: Josephine, Ayanna and Ya' Sheeka, who all bear the Jackson name.
