Johnny Dewayne Ballard, 28, of Altus died at his home. Services are scheduled for Friday at 2:00pm at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Keith Wiginton. Burial will be in the Altus Cemetery.

Ballard was born June 13, 1962 in Altus and was the son of Carl and Lulu Belle Ballard. He attended Altus schools and was a carpet layer by trade.

Survivors include his mother and father of Altus; one brother, Tommy Ballard and his wife Sandra of Altus; five sisters; Carl Ann Mains and her husband, Danny of Olustee; Kathy May Monday and her husband, Tommy McGrory of Warren; Cindy Bearden and her husband of Duke; Teresa Gail Wilke and her husband Glenn of Frederickburg, Texas; Tammy Ballard and her husband Mark Wright of Altus; also surviving are six nieces, eight nephews and one grand nephew.
