Obituary for John Henry McCario
John Henry McCario, age 52, died Saturday evening at the United States Air Force Medical Center at Scott AFB, Belleville, IL. Graveside services have been set for Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Altus Cemetery Veterans Section with Full Military Honors, officiated by Chaplin John James. Arrangements are with Lowell Funeral Home.

McCario was born August 14th, 1936 in Pekin, IL. He was the son of Barney and Eunice McCario. He spent a large portion of his military career stationed at Altus AFB before retiring as a TSgt with the 443rd FMS in February 1972. He was a member and former State Commander of the Oklahoma Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the American Legion Post 44, a 32nd degree Mason, member of Amvets, the Retired Enlisted Association, and an honorary member of the Kentucky Colonels.

Survivors include: his Mother, Eunice McCario; one son, James McCario of Cunituck, NC; two sisters, Yvonne Shoemaker of Chandleville, IL and Martha Hasty of Canton, IL.
