Obituary for Joe M. Grimmer
Joe M. Grimmer, two-year-old son of SSgt Chris D. Grimmer, died at 10:12 P.M., Monday in the Altus Air Force Base Hospital of a head injury suffered about 6:45 P.M., Sunday at his home near Blair.

The youngster reportedly fell down the stairs at his home. SSgt Grimmer reportedly picked up the unconscious youngster and ran more than a mile to a neighbor's house to call an ambulance.

A Tims Funeral Home ambulance carried the baby to the Jackson County Memorial Hospital where he was given emergency treatment before being transferred to the base hospital. SSgt Grimmer is assigned to the 4th Mobile Group at Altus AFB.

Survivors include: four brothers, Chris D. Jr., Craig A., Tobin J., and Sean K.
