Obituary for Jo Marie Hardiman
Jo Marie Ray Hardiman, age 55 passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Jackson County Memorial . She was born December 6, 1945 in Altus, Oklahoma to Joe and Julia Ray.
She attended Lincoln High school. She married Willie Johnson in July of 1962 in Altus, Oklahoma.
Jo Marie was a homemaker and loved gardening. She graduated from nursing school as a certified nursing assistant. She was a longtime member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Altus.
She survived by her mother Julia Ray of Altus, Oklahoma; seven daughters Willie Marie Bolden, Audrey Phillips, Wilma Johnson, Pamela Lee, Kristy Hardiman all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kimberly Hardiman of Altus, Oklahoma; one son Mike Johnson of Oklahoma City; sox sisters Fannie and J.C. Crowley, Sandra Gould, Lula Ray, Mae Francis Jefferson all of Altus, Oklahoma. Mary and Willie Square o Moore, Oklahoma, Barbara and Willie Jordan of Lubbock, Texas, one brother, Tommy ray of Altus, Oklahoma, sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, grandparents, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday, May 19, 2001 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Broughton and Rev. Austin Ridley. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Hone.
Family will have visitation Friday May 18, 2001 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
