Jimmy "Jim" Phillip Biles, age 76, longtime resident of Altus, Oklahoma passed away on October 8, 2020.
Jimmy was born in Altus, Oklahoma on May 22, 1944 to his parents Bryan Wilson Biles and Mary Marie (Huston) Biles. Jimmy was raised in Altus, Oklahoma and attended Western Oklahoma State College to receive an associate's degree. He continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelors of Education. On April 23, 2005 Jim married the love of his life Sharon Biles and they enjoyed many years of marriage together. Jimmy was a Christian and was active in his church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, National Rifle Association (NRA), and The Bass Master Association. Jim enjoyed golfing, fishing, shooting his guns, spending time together with his dogs, riding motorcycles, spending time with his friends, and being outdoors. Jim loved spending time with his daughter Zynelle Biles. He also loved watching Oklahoma University and Oklahoma State University football on TV. He was a very wise, kind, and loving man. He was passionate about his family, friends, and hobbies. He had a sarcastic funny humor which made all of his family and friends laugh.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Bryan Wilson Biles and Marie Marie (Huston) Biles; and one brother, Richard Gaylord Biles.
Jim is survived by wife Sharon Biles; one daughter, Zyrelle Biles; two brothers, Bryan "Dean" Biles and wife Charlene Biles of Bonner Springs, Kansas, and Chris and wife Robin Biles of Grand Prairie, Texas; one sister, Kaye Waldroop of Altus, Oklahoma; Best friends Bruce and Mela Smith of Altus, Oklahoma, and Tanner and Christine Smith of Altus, Oklahoma.
Private ceremonies for family and friends will be held.
