Obituary for Jewell Gaynelle Hill
Jewell Gaynelle Hill Jewell Gaynelle Hill died at her home in Kingman, Arizona on May 3, 2000. Born July 16, 1924 in Durant, Oklahoma to H. Jack and Caledonia Stone Pierot. She grew up in Durant and married Thomas A. Hill in 1959. In 1966 they moved to Kingman where Tom was employed by the Duval Company. For several years they owned and operated a souvenir and gift shop in Oatman, Arizona The Hills enjoyed bowling with thei8r Kingman league. Jewell collected dolls, Fenton glassware and Precious Moments figurines. She enjoyed caring for her prize roses. Jewell was preceded in death by her husband in 1998, also by her parents and a brother, Billy D. Pierot. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Grant Pinkerton, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law and husband Jo and Bud Breese all of California. Also a sister, Jacquelyn Corley, of Altus, a nephew, Bob Corley, two nieces, Peggy and Carole Corley, two great nieces and two great nephews. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Kingman. Memorial services were conducted in Kingman by Rev. Paul Daniel. Memorial Services will be held at Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 20, 2000 at 10:30am with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
