James Lawton Schnorrenberg passed away April 16th, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. He was born July 21st, 1917 in Friendship, Oklahoma to Hubert and Clara (Holdridge) Schnorrenberg. James spent his entire live in Jackson County. He married Clara Holdridge October 8th 1937 in Warren, Oklahoma. Together they farmed and attanded the Methodist Church in Friendship.

James is survived by his wife Clara of the home, a son Nick Schnorrenberg and a daughter, Suzanne Nichols and three grandchildren. He is also survived by five sisters and a brother.

Services for James Lawton Schnorrenberg are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. April 19th, 1982 at the Methodist church in Friendship, Oklahoma with Rev. Bill Moss and Rev. Darrell Patterson officiating, Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
