Obituary for James J. Pitt
James J. Pitt, age 85, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 27th, 2002.

James was born July 8, 1917 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to parents Roger "Earl" and Octavia Pitt. At an early age he moved to the Altus area where he remained. He was proud of his military service, serving in World War II and Korea. James was a veteran of both the United States Army Air Corps and the National Guard. For many years, he also worked in the Altus area as an Agriculture Inspector.


Mr. Pitt is survived by one brother, Roger Pitt of Dallas, TX; three nieces, Arline Pitt of Farmer's Branch, Texas, Pamela Pitt of San Francisco, California and Kathy Pitt of Dallas, Texas.

James was preceded in death by is parents.
