Iva (Pearl) Black died November 25, 1963 at her home on Hightower Street in Altus, Oklahoma.
She was born July 26, 1890 in Henderson County, Texas to J.D. and Hulda (McDonald) Farley. She married Ernest Black and he preceded her in death May 5, 1949.
Funeral services for Mrs. Black are scheduled for November 27, 1963, 2:00pm at the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ with L.N. Moody officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Black is survived by one son Charles Black, Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers, C.D. Farley, Plaster City, California; Barney Farley, Eldorado, Oklahoma; two sisters, Maude Kizziar, Haywood, Oklahoma; Hulda Brown, Sanger, California; one grandson Jerry Black, Altus, Oklahoma; one granddaughter Mrs. Doris Capps, Fresno, California; six great grandchildren.
