Obituary for Iris Holt
Services have been set for Iris Holt, age 77, who passed away Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at Lowell Memorial Chapel Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. with the Reverend Joe Fredrick officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holt was a long time resident of Altus and the wife of Dr. Willard Holt, a prominent Altus physician who served the people of Jackson County for many years before his retirement.

Mrs. Holt was born November 13th, 1906 in Ford County, KS and married Dr. Willard Holt May 1, 1937 in Syracuse, KS. After serving in WWII Dr. and Mrs. Holt returned to Altus where they established their home and his practice. The Holt Family were well known members of Jackson County's Olustee community.

Mrs. Holt is survived by: her husband of the home in Altus; one son, John Kinross Holt of Ft. Worth, TX; one daughter, Kathleen Davis of Emporia, KS; one granddaughter, Jennifer Davis also of Kansas; one sister, Mrs. Lewis Beck of Dodge City, KS; and a host of friends.
