Ima Fenter Startz was born October 18, 1918 at Gotebo, Oklahoma. She died September 11, 1993 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Clarence Startz. She was a long time resident of Altus and Jackson County. She was a homemaker and member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ.

Services are scheduled for 2 PM Monday at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Ed Lobaugh officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain view cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs. Startz is survived by her mother Lizzie Fenter, husband Clarence Startz of Altus, Oklahoma; children, Joyce Vandlandingham of Altus, Oklahoma; Lawrence Startz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brothers Bud Fenter of El Paso, Texas; Bill Fenter of Natalia, Texas; Bob Fenter of Woodbridge, Virginia; one sister Nellie Lum of Pasadena, Texas; three grandchildren, James Vanlandingham, David Startz, Paul Startz.
