Ida Parrish
Ida Parish, 96, long time resident of Altus died Wednesday at the English Village Nursing Home. Services are scheduled for 10:30 am Friday April 12, 1991 at the Lowell-Tims Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Joe Mac Lloyd. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery.
Mrs. Parish was born June 17, 1894 at Corning Arkansas. She married Grady Parish March 19, 1911 at Corning Arkansas and he preceded her in death in 1957. She had been a resident of Altus and Jackson since 1928. He was a member of the Baptist Church, had worked as a saleslady for many years at several dress shops.
Mrs. Parish is survived by her children, Theda Berry, Prescott, Arizona; Jim Parrish, Altus, Oklahoma; Anna Lee Hunt, Chickasha, Oklahoma; Ronald Parrish, Ardmore, Oklahoma; Daniel Parrish, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Richard Warren, Robert Warren, James Hunt, Dick Hunt, John Hunt, Julie Conner, Andy Berry, James Parrish Jr., Kim Parrish, Rhonda Parrish, Stewart Parrish, Jeff Parrish, Matt Parrish, Andrea Smith, Tracy Parrish, Patrick Parrish, Edwin Warren, thirty four Great grandchildren.
Mrs. Parish was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Elsie Warren.
