Howard Leon Easley, Jr., 68, of Granite, passed away Saturday evening, April 8, 2017, at Quartz Mountain Medical Center, in Mangum.

Mr. Easely was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 17, 1948, to Howard Leon Easley, Sr. and Delma Meely. Howard attended high school in Oklahoma City. He spent many years driving a truck, which resulted in meeting the love of his life. Howard married Peggy Ann Fanning on September 2, 1984 and enjoyed 26 wonderful years together before her death on January 1, 2011. Howard enjoyed spending time with his family, telling stories, and working in the garage. Through the years, the family lived in several different locations due to Howard’s job. In 2005, they moved back to Granite due to their declining health. Howard will missed greatly.

Preceded in death by his parents; one brother Gary Easley and his wife, Peggy Easley, he is survived by ten children, Howard Easley, III, and wife Meagan of Granite, David Easley and wife Karri of Atoka, Kenneth Cassie Susan Easley of Granite; Kileagh Easley of Granite; Keeana Easley of Granite along with three brothers; two sisters; eight grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Howard Leon Easley, Jr, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Granite First Baptist Church with Pastor Kris Ramber officiating.
