Obituary for Horace Clifton Houchin
Mr. Horace Clifton Houchin, age 55, long time Altus businessman, died Monday morning at the Vernon Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church, officiated by the Reverend Carl McCoy. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born May 11th, 1922 in Blue, Oklahoma, he primarily grew up in the Hollis and Duke areas and for the past several years has been in business in Altus operating one or more beverage outlets.

Survivors include: the wife of the home; one son, Clifton Houchin of Altus; one daughter, Mrs. Ronnie "Deloros" Fancher of Olustee; one step-son, Frankie Anderson of Altus; two step-daughters, Judy Handren and Thalia Kohler both of Dwight, IL; two brothers, Buster Houchin of Wichita, KS and Edward Houchin of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Hunter of Eldorado and Mrs. Virginia Johnson of Sunray, Texas; four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren.
