Obituary for Homer C. Boyd
Homer C. Boyd age 81, of Olustee, Oklahoma was born February 6, 1916 in Frederick, Oklahoma, the son of the late H.C. and Mattie (Hutton) Boyd. Mr Boyd passed away Thursday morning in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Burial will be in the Clovis Cemetery, Clovis, California, with local arrangements under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. On January 15, 1950, he and Florence Froude were united in marriage at Reno, Nevada. Mrs Boyd preceded him in death, December 6, 1992. Homer was retired Field Officer for Pacific Gas and Electric. He was born in Jackson County, moving to California 50 years ago in 1993, he returned to Olustee. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include; his sister, Edith Preston of Altus, Oklahoma, one brother H.W. "Red" Laird of Olustee, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
