Hester McMillen Stidham

Hester McMillen Stidham was born February 21st, 1883 in Evansville, Tennessee and passed away on March 17, 1965 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. She married J. W. Hagood on October 3, 1903/ J. W. passed away on January 15, 1944 and in 1949 she married J. E. Stidham and was again a widow on May 16. 1955.

Hester is survived by one son J. B. Hagood of Altus, Oklahomaahoma and 2 daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Dean and Mrs. Lee Cheany both of Altus, Oklahoma. Also surviving are eight Grandchildren, 4 Great grandchildren and several Step Children.


Services are scheduled for Friday, March 19, 1965 at 3:00 P.M. at the Humphrey Baptist Church With Rev. Noel George and Rev. Arthur Tigert officiating. Interment will be at Altus City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Tims Funeral Home
