WILSON
Henry Wilson, age 88, a lifelong resident of Greer County, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at Mangum City Hospital.
Henry was born in Reed, Oklahoma on May 21, 1929 to his parents John T. and Grace Irene (Powell) Wilson. On January 14, 1969, he married Lillian “Lil†Gambill in Childress, Texas and they have enjoyed over 48 years of marriage. Henry worked as a cattle buyer for many years and his passion was working his land in Greer County and surrounding areas as a Farmer and Rancher. He always liked having a large garden and having family picnics while working the ranch with family. Henry was a very kind, considerate and loving husband and daddy and was a “Papa†to many. We consider him the last “John Wayneâ€.
