Obituary for Helen Louise Bennett
Helen Louise Bennett was born on September 24th, 1903 at Bucklin, Kansas. She died February 25, 1990 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Ansel Wallace on April 15, 1920 and he preceded her in death in August 1956. She later married Joe Bennett on December 24, 1959 and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1975. She was a long time resident of Altus, having moved here in 1914. She was the daughter of Walsh and Lou Leora Mitchell.
Survivors include: Carrie L. Baker, Robert R. Wallace, of Altus, OK; a granddaughter, Rebecca Patterson, of Altus, OK; two grandsons, T.L. Wallace of Altus, OK and Timothy Wine of Red Rock, OK; three step-grandchildren, Brenda Robinson of Maplewood, MN, Don Fisk of Canal Fulton, Ohio and Bobby Fisk of Massillon, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by: one son, Ansel Lewis Wallace, Jr.; four brothers; six sisters.
Services are scheduled for 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 28, 1990 at the Tims Chapel of Memories. Officiating will be Father John Metzinger. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
