Hazel Jewel Hankins
Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado, for Hazel Jewel Barnes Hankins. Mrs. Hankins was a long time Jackson County resident, a farm wife, mother and homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Canie L. Hawkins, she was born June 28, 1913 at Abbie M. Barnes and Nora Ware Barnes.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Lenora) Swanson of Yukon, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Jess (Wanda) Ryburn of Union City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Eldon Huckabay and Eric Thompson, Jonikka and Jaymi Ryburn; five great grandchildren, and three sisters, Adele O' Steen, Cordie Lee Farley and Wilma Patterson.
Hazel is survived by children Lenora Swanson of Yukon, Oklahoma; Wanda Nell Ryburn of Union, Oklahoma; sisters, Adele Osteen on Bowie, Texas; Cordie Lee Farley of Bowie, Texas; Wilma Patterson of Grand Prarie, Texas; four grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Addie and Nora Lee Barnes; husband Canie L. Hankins in 1986.
