Hattie Modena Lamb was born March 6th, 1878 in Prairie County Arkansas to J. W. and Drucilla (Baird) Smith. She passed away January 31st, 1967at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. Services for Hattie are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday February 2nd 1967 at the Baptist Church in Eldorado, Oklahoma with Rev. Walter Knox and Rev. Earl Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery, Duncan, Oklahoma under the direction of Tims Funeral Home. Mrs. Lamb was a housewife and homemaker. The family were early day pioneers, living in a dugout when they first came to the area. She and her husband had a Turkey Farm near Eldorado for several years. She was of the Methodist faith.

Hattie is survived by two daughters: Mrs John Smith of Eldorado Oklahoma and Mrs Colen King
of Stiverson, California. Also surviving are five grandchildren and great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. .
