Hattie Maxey Akers age 84, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma died February 22, 1982 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Hattie was born June 28, 1897 in Georgetown, Texas to Walter and Mary (McGee) Maxey. She married Floyd C. Akers and he preceded her in death in 1954. Hattie had been a resident of Oklahoma City for the past 6 years, moving there form Olustee, Oklahoma, where she had resided for over 50 years.
Funeral services for Hattie Akers are scheduled for Wednesday, February 24, 1982 at 2:00 pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Hattie is survived by two daughters, Lois Myers, Bethany, Oklahoma; Joyce Reeves, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister Bertha Vickrey, Altus, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
Hattie was preceded in death by one son Bert T. Akers in 1962.
