Obituary for Hattie Caroline Taylor
Mrs. Mattie Taylor, age 79, pioneer resident of Blair, died Saturday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services have been set for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at the Blair Church of Christ, officiated by J. V. McElroy. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born January 31st, 1892 in Texas, she was married to the late John B. Taylor and they farmed in the Blair area for a great number of years. Mr. Taylor died in 1959. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Blair.

Survivors include: two sons, John "Pat"Taylor of Blair and David Thomas Taylor of Minden, NV; one grandson, John David Taylor of Blair; three brothers and three sisters living out of state.
