Obituary for Harold Vaun Andreas Sr.
Former Altus resident Harold Vaun Andreas Sr., age 82, of Duncan, Oklahoma, was born on August 18th, 1914, in Olustee, Oklahoma, to the late Frank and Otilla (Buol) Andreas. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Andreas passed away Tuesday, August 20th, 1996 , in the Duncan Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 1996, in the Restlawn Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma, with Rev. Carl McCoy officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. On March 16, 1940, he and Marguerite Purcell were united in marriage at Olustee, Oklahoma. Mrs. Andreas preceded him in death March 7,1992. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: one son, Harold Andreas Jr. and his wife Karen of Duncan, OK; A Special Son, Don Kincannon of Stillwater, OK; two nieces, Kay Swain of Olustee, OK and Thelda Martin of McAlister, OK; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marguerite Andreas, 3-7-1992; two sisters and one brother.
