Obituary for Harold Raymond Conrad
Harold Raymond Conrad, Rt. 1, Headrick, Oklahoma was born October 21, 1907, in Frederick, Oklahoma, the son of the late G.W. and Emma "Wolfe" Conrad. He was a lifelong resident of Southwest Oklahoma, having grown up in the Frederick, Tipton and Davidson area. Mr. and Mrs Conrad moved to the Friendship Community in 1951. Mr. Conrad passed away Wednesday, April 16, 1997 in the Duncan Care Center after a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 10:00am , Saturday, April 19, 1997, in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Wiginton and Madison Clinton officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, Altus. On January 8, 1928, he and Mary Ruth Harwood were united in marriage at Tipton, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death January 9, 1995. Mr Conrad was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church.

Survivors include his children; Don Conrad and Sue of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Troy Conrad and Ann of Shreveport, LA., Dale Conrad and Reba of McKinney, Texas, Mary Beth Culver and Bill of Odessa, Texas, Gale Anderson and Dale of Duncan, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Mary Ruth Harwood Conrad, January 9, 1995; three brothers; four sisters.
