Harold D. Harris, age 72, of Mangum, passed away, Monday, July 28, 2014, at his residence, in Mangum.
Mr. Harris was born in Boswell, Oklahoma on August 21, 1941, to Leslie and Violet (Cahill) Harris. Harold was a hard worker and was a mechanic for many years. A resident of Mangum for over forty years, Harold was a member of the Church of New Beginnings and loved going to the farm with friends and being outdoors.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and sisters, Elbert (Al) Harris, Evelyn Walton, Jorene Woollen and Paul Harris. He is survived by seven brothers and sisters, Leslie L. Harris of Altus, Betty Sampler of Mangum, Gary Harris of Cache, Oklahoma, Barbara Smith of Mangum, Travis Harris of Davidson, Oklahoma, Tina Dupree of Tulsa and Donna Lyda of Mangum; one daughter, Toni Harris Mollet of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Michael, Katy, and Lucas along with many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Harold Harris will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Greer Funeral Home Chapel.
