Gregory Alan West, age 70, of Mangum, passed away April 2, 2017, at his residence, in Mangum.
Mr. West was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 20, 1946, to Noble Grover and Sarah Catherine (Meyer) West. As a young man, Greg moved to California where he became an expert in the construction trade business. In the early 1980’s, Greg moved to Mangum where he was involved in the construction of the new lodge at Quartz Mountain Resort. For a time he worked with Tony Davis and many corporate construction projects all over Oklahoma. On November 7, 2015, he married Debbie Mills and they spent the next two wonderful years together until his death.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dave, he is survived by his wife Debbie of the home, in Mangum and one sister, Debra of California, along with many other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Greg’s wishes, his remains were cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
