Obituary for Grace Eley Littlejohn
Grace (Eley) Littlejohn, age 86 passed away Friday, April 9, 1999 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born October 31, 1912 at Elmer, Oklahoma at the late William D. and Marie (Moore) Eley.
grace attended school at Elmer through the 11th grade. She finished her senior year at Humpherys. After high school she went to Oklahoma A & M where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree; Grace taught school for thirty-one years, in SW Oklahoma, some of the schools the taught at were Humphrey, Martha, Friendship, and Altus.
On May 21, 1939 in Martha, Oklahoma Grace and Ora Littlejohn were united in marriage. He preceded her in death.
Grace was a logtime member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include seven nieces, Y' Vonne Bambarg, Mary Beth Eley, Ann Beckner, Carla Magarity, Jackie Goetz, Sharon Sullivan, Laurie Brost, four nephews, Gary Eley, Bob Eley, Dave Parks, Jeff Eley, brother-in-law, Edwin Parks, a host of great-nieces and great nephews, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, and one sister.
