Obituary for Gloria Jeane Romero
Beloved mother, Gloria Jeane Romero, age 74, passed away April 12th, 2020 at Mangum Regional Medical Center in Mangum, Oklahoma. She was born December 6th, 1945 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Henry Kimball Romero and Josephine Schneider.
Gloria spent her younger years in Amarillo, Texas. She married Albert Daniel Harper on April 13th, 1964 in Vernon, Texas and they made their home in Mangum, Oklahoma. During their 52 years of marriage they had 4 children; Danny, Mia, Bobbie and Marsha. She spent many years being a homemaker and in her spare time she loved gardening, spending time with her family and her pets. Gloria was a devoted wife and mother. Gloria spent her last years at Grace Living Center and will always be known for having such a sweet and dedicated spirit.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by 4 children; Danny and his wife Mickey of Fritch, Texas, Mia and her husband Robby Mixon of Graham, Texas, Bobbie and husband James Luchsinger of New Market, Tennessee, and Marsha Harper along with Ronnie Passmore of Mangum, Oklahoma. Three sisters; Tina and husband Larry Nelson, Sandra Mosher, Linda and husband Larry Lafon; two brothers, Benny Solano and wife Pam and Andy Solano; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren due in July 2020.
