Obituary for Georgia Mae Bobbitt
Georgia Mae Bobbitt age 81, of Fort Worth, Texas, was born October 1, 1916 in Altus, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Henry and Lillie (Cotney) Cox. She had been a resident of Altus, Oklahoma and Bryan, Texas before moving to Fort Worth in 1987. Mrs Bobbitt passed away Wednesday evening, December 17, 1997, at her home in fort Worth. Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Monday, December 22, 1997, in the Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include; one son; Robert G. Bobbitt of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter; Janice L. Griner of College Station, Texas and two grandsons; Richard and William Broach.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Kay Huey, Mildred Glenn and Juanita Russell and two brothers; Howard and Arnold Cox.
