Georgia L. Hampton age 56, of Altus, Oklahoma died August 18, 1982 at University Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Georgia was born August 31, 1925, in Oklahoma to Earl and Susie (Burrnett) Wells. She married George Hampton. Georgia was a nurse at Jackson County Memorial Hospital for 27 years. She was a member of the V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary, Rebecca's, L. P. N. Association of Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Georgia L. Hampton are scheduled for Saturday, August 20, 1982 at 10:00 am at Elm and Hudson Church of Christ, Altus, officiated by Bill Osborne. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Jr. of Noble, Oklahoma; Joe D Hampton, Vernon, Texas; Thomas E. Hampton, Altus, Oklahoma; Charles R. Hampton, Altus, Oklahoma; James L. Hampton, Altus, Oklahoma; four brothers, Charles Wells, Missouri; Alton Wells, Dallas, Texas; Leon Wells, Tipp City, Ohio, Johnny Well, Achille, Oklahoma; four sisters, Juanita Ray, Altus, Oklahoma; Virginia Devoll, Lamar, Texas; Mary L. Meadors, Tulsa; Linda Schartung, Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren.
