Garry Julian Palmore
Garry Julian Palmore, 58, longtime resident of Altus, passed away Sunday, February 26,2006, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Garry was born May 12, 1947, in McCurtain, Oklahoma. He was born the son of Earl and Ella (Dayberry) Palmore. He has worked in maintenance for Southwest Enterprise in Altus for many years. Garry attended the Assembly of God Church in Altus. He was a very special individual with a loving personality. He loved dancing and listening to country music, especially songs by Loretta Lynn. He took great pride in participating in the Special Olympics and had many medals for his efforts. Garry's memory will be greatly cherished by the many whose lives he has touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
He is lovingly survived by three sisters, Marjorie Cherry and Randall Cherry, Texarkana, TX, Barbara Glenn and husband, Jody, Altus, and Beverly Shaffer and husband Darrold, Pauls Valley, and one brother, Larry Palmore and wife Bonita, Altus; and by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
