G.B. Ashley, age 74, of Altus, passed away on January 12, 1983 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was born March 13, 1908 in Blair , Oklahoma to William Harvey Ashley and Ophelia Boyd Ashley. He married the love of his life Euva Kastner on March 28,1928. They were residents of Jackson County over 60 years. G.B. worked for Ford Motor Company and George C. Wright Lumber Company. He was of Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by one son, Glen B. Ashley in 1981.
Survivors include his wife, Euva, of the home; one grandson, Mack Ashley, Tuttle, and two granddaughters, Sue Coffman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Lea Ann Baugh, Aptos, California; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey, Altus, and Barney, Altus and one sister, Lella Mae Miller, Norman, Oklahoma.
Services for G.B. Ashley will be Saturday, January 15, 1983 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
