Floyd "Sandy" Frazier

Floyd "Sandy" Frazier, 62, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, October 6th, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby, his daughter Patricia and her husband Joshua McMaster of Altus, and his sister Beulah and brothers George and Frank of Kingfisher.

Sandy served with the United States Air Force for 23 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. Sandy received several decorations including the Meritorious Service Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal an with Three Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Small Arms Expert Rifle, NCO Professional
Education Graduate Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with Four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters. After his retirement he was employed with Flight Safety Services Corporation where he worked as a Supply Technician for 20 years. Sandy was an OU Sooners fan and attended every Altus Bulldogs football game. He also loved to go fishing and was looking forward to going fishing with his son-in-law Joshua when he got well enough. Sandy was a giving and thoughtful husband and father who would do anything for his wife Ruby of 36 years and his daughter Patricia. He was loved by everyone who knew him and liked by everyone he met. He spent his free time watching college football and taking care of his lawn and his cats. The family wishes to have donations, gifts, etc. be in monetary form and given to Altus Animal Aid or the Altus Animal Shelter in his name.
