Obituary for Farrie Howard
Services were held Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Lowell Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Farrie Howard, age 97, a pioneer resident of Jackson County. Burial was at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home with the Reverend Keith Wiginton officiating.

Born just outside of Nashville, TN on July 8th, 1887 to John and Josie King, she came to Oklahoma Territory as a young girl in 1906. She married the late Warren Howard, a pioneer resident of the Navajo Community, April 10, 1910 in Chickasha. Mrs. Howard passed away early Saturday morning at the Altus House Nursing Home.

Survivors include: three sons, K.C. Howard and Sam Howard of Headrick, OK and Wash Howard of Altus; two daughters, Jessie Reynolds of Checotah and Bessie Doane of Lawton; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
