Obituary for Eva Adame Rosalez
Eva Adame Rosalez, 79, longtime resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away on December 12, 2020 in Hobart, Oklahoma. Eva was born on September 14, 1941 to Augustine Adame and Salame (Valerio) Adame in Panna Maria, Texas. Eva married Emilio Montez Rozalez on November 8, 1958 In Rule, Texas. The couple were married for 43 years before the love of her life passed away on March 5, 2001.
Eva worked for Altus and Mangum Dry Cleaners and was known for her hard work ethic. She was a proud member of the First United Methodist Church in Mangum. Eva loved to play bingo, sew, and loved to read her Bible. She also loved spending time with her family.
Eva is preceded in death by her parents; Loving husband, Emilio Montez Rosalez; Sisters, Paula Mendoza, Dora Marie Diaz, and Josie Lockamy; and Grandson, Daniel Rosalez, Jr.
Left to honor her memory are her sons, Juan Rosalez of Mangum, Oklahoma, Emilio and Ester Rosalez of Carter, Oklahoma, Daniel and Tammy Rosalez of Mangum, Oklahoma, and Alberto Rosalez of Altus, Oklahoma; Daughters, Esmeralda Calloway of Mangum, Oklahoma, Soyla and Carlos Viruegas of Quanah, Texas, Esperanza and Brandon Yocham of Atlus, Oklahoma, and Beatrice and Mike Melton of Hammon, Oklahoma; Brothers, Augustine Adame, and Adam Adame; Sister, Naomi Acuna; Twenty-nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandkids and extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Greer Funeral Home, in Mangum, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Mangum, Oklahoma, with interment to follow at Blair Cemetery in Blair, Oklahoma.
