Mr. Eugene V. Debbs Powers, age 68, died on 3 April 1977 at his residence of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services have been set for 3:00 P.M., at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by Glendon Hayes. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born June 14, 1908 in Texas, he was married at Elmer, OK on April 14, 1936 to the former Oleta Mary Chambers who preceded him in death May 13, 1970.

Survivors include: one son, Kelly Powers of Chickasha, OK; two daughters, Leta Jo Powers of Altus and Loretta J. Powers of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one brother, John Powers of Aspermont, TX; two sisters, Grace Anderson of Aspermont, TX and Vera Sledge of Tampa, FL.
