Obituary for Ethan Allan Lonewolf

Ethan Allen Lone Wolf was born on March 30, 1966, in Hobart, Oklahoma, and passed on to his heavenly home on March 7, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 59.

Ethan was the youngest child of Irene Faye (Tsotigh) and Bruce Webster Lone Wolf, Jr. His maternal grandparents were Jenny and Edward Tsotigh, both Kiowa, and his paternal grandparents were Edna (Cody) and Bruce Kinney Lone Wolf, Sr., also Kiowa. His grandfather, Bruce Lone Wolf, Sr., was the grandson of Chief Lone Wolf (Quoepkho) (Mammedaty) of Elk Creek near Hobart, Oklahoma, making Ethan his proud great-great-grandson and a full-blood Kiowa.

Ethan was raised by his father and his Lone Wolf grandparents in Hobart, Oklahoma, where he attended Hobart Public Schools. He served as a police officer in Hobart, Oklahoma but primarily was a truck driver for many years. He was a proud member of the Kiowa Indian Tribe. Those who knew Ethan remember him for his sharp wit and wonderful sense of humor. He loved to tease and bring laughter to those around him, and his family holds many fond memories of the joy he brought to their lives, even during his final days. In his free time, Ethan enjoyed playing darts and pool, listening to country music, and spending time with family and friends.

Ethan is survived by his wife, Vickie; his children, Keith Talbot, Jaime Barbazon, and Annie Petzold; and his grandchildren, Rene Barbazon, JeriLyn Razza, and Grayson Garcia. He is also survived by his siblings, Jerry Wayne Lone Wolf and wife, Kathy, Edwin Lone Wolf and wife, Helen, Ramona Nuttle and husband, G.W., Sharon Cryer and husband, Clinton, Janice Lone Wolf, and Bobby Sadongdi. He is further survived by his beloved aunties, Jerlena Waterdown, Jackie Fields, Cheryl Wickson, and Sarah Lone Wolf, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Irene Faye (Tsotigh) Lone Wolf; his grandparents; his sister, Brenda Lynn; and his brother, Dennis Tsotigh. Ethan will be remembered for his humor, his pride in his Kiowa heritage, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The Lone Wolf family will host a wake service on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elk Creek Cemetery, south of Hobart, under the care of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
