Obituary for Erma Ruth Hamilton
Erma Ruth White Hamilton passed away November 4, 1999 in an Oklahoma City hospital after a lingering illness. Born March 2, 1917 in Hess, Oklahoma, Mrs Hamilton has been a longtime resident of Altus and member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ. Mrs. Hamilton was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs C.T. white. Her father was the former Fire Chief of Altus. Mrs. Hamilton was married to James Hamilton, September 1932 and e preceded her in death in December 1990. Mrs. Hamilton was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Judy Carver Hamilton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and her brother Charles F.(Sonny) White of Dallas, Texas and a great grandson.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her son, Daryl Hamilton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter Patsy Adelman and son-in-law, Jerry Adelman of Sacramento, California; sister Juarine Wooldridge of Mt.Vernon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Brent Hamilton and wife Susie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kurt Hamilton and wife Paulienna of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kristy Hamilton of Houston, Texas, Barry Hamilton of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Jason Adelman and Jamie Adelman of Sacramento, California and one great grandson, Schuyler Hamilton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 1999 at 11:00 am in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
