Obituary for Elsie Ralston
Elsie Ralston, age 88, longtime Blair resident, passed away Monday, June 29, 1998. Services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 1, 1998, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Sonny Tims officiating. Interment will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Elsie was born October 3rd, 1909, in Redlands, OK to Lewis and Avis (Price) Sharver. On November 23, 1926, she and James E. Ralston were united in marriage at Quanah,Texas. J.E. preceded her in death in 1986.
Elsie was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. She was an avid gardener who loved to tend her flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Ralston is survived by three daughters, and a son-in-law, Wanda Williamson of Altus, OK,
Gwen and Gene Bonds of Duncan, OK and Dorothea Combs of Sparks, NV; one sister, Violet Sevey of Blair, OK; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.E. Ralston; one daughter, Laquita; a brother, Forrest Sharver; one sister, Goldie Permenter; and one grandson, Michael Bonds.
