Obituary for Elmer Douglas Liles
Elmer Douglas Liles was born October 18th, 1908 in Texas. He died April 6th, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Calvin and Louella Liles. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanette, January 29, 1982. He married Faye Webb June 30, 1982 at Wellington, Texas. Doug served in the U.S. Army during world War II. He had resided in Altus for many years. He worked for the Post Office and the Water Department for many years until his retirement.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Altus Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include: his wife, Faye Liles of the home in Mangum, OK; two children, Billie Jo Ream of La Pine, OR and Patsy Jane Atkison of Black Canyon, AZ; two brothers, Earnest Liles of Oklahoma City, OK and Elvin M. Liles of San Bernardino, CA; two sisters, Rena Winborn and Reba Aurwater, both of Ft. Worth, TX; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Jeanette Pickett (1-29-82).
