Elmer A Butler was born December 13th, 1905 in Indian Territory near Woodward,, Oklahoma to Daniel and Katie (Weisbrod ) Butler and passed away on January 24th, 1983 at his home in Altus, Oklahoma. Elmer married Bethel Taylor on March 12, 1927 om Sharon, Oklahoma. They moved to Altus in 1942. Elmer is a retired Service Station Owner.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Bethel of Altus, Oklahoma, one son Robert (Bob) Butler of Ponchatoula, Louisiana and one daughter Clesta McAlpine of Altus, Oklahoma. four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services for Elmer A Butler are scheduled for 2:00 P. M. Thursday, January 27th, 1983, at the Tims Chapel of Memories with Keith Wigington and Melvin Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Altus City Cemetery with Tims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
