Ella Mae Hunter was born August 12th, 1885 in Ralston, Texas to Nathaniel and Mattie (Derryberry) Kuykendall. She was a member of The Assembly of God Church. She married R. M. Hunter on December 29, 1924 and R. M. preceded her in death on May 11, 1959. Ella Mae is survived by one daughter, Mrs Ray Lauderdale of Altus Oklahoma and two sons: A.M Hunter of Altus, Oklahoma and O. T. Hunter of Wichita Falls, Texas. Also surviving are four brothers: Riley, Claseie, Calvin and Thomas and three sisters, Nellie Elkns, Bertie Browlee and Lela Southall.

Services for Ella Mae Hunter are scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 1969 at the Tims Chapel of Memories With Rev Carl McCoy and Rev R. J. Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
