Services have been scheduled for Eldes Huckabay for Tuesday 2:00pm December 31, 1991 at the Eldorado Methodist Church, Rev. Elbert Shumaker will be officiating assisted by Rev. Moette Krapff. Interment will follow in the Elodorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
Mr. Huckabay was born July 10, 1909 in Eldorado to Samuel J. and Lula Huckabay. He was married March 3, 1934 to Evelyn who preceded him in death. Mr. Huckabay was a retired farmer and the former manager of the Eldorado Co-Op.
Mr. Huckabay is survived by his daughter, Kay Gibbons of Vernon, Texas; brother, Joe Huckabay, Houston, Texas, sister Lizzie McCown, Eldorado, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Huckabay was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Huckabay, April 17, 1991, son, Donald Ray Huckabay, July 17, 1959, parents, three brothers.
