He was a retired railroad worker. He worked 12 years for the railroad, before becoming disabled.
Edwin formerly lived in Duke, Oklahoma for 14 years before moving to Alva.
Funeral services for Edwin William Bonner are scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 1971 at 4:00 pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Ronald Ledbetter. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Edwin W. Bonner is survived by his wife of the home in Alva; three daughters, one sister, Lavada Scarbrough, McAllen, Texas; two brothers, Grady Bonner, Olustee, Oklahoma; Robert Bonner, Gould, Oklahoma.
