Obituary for Edward Gamez
Edward Gamez, age 45, was born July 25, 1955 in Plainview, Texas. He died April 21, 2001 at Jackson Co. Memorial Hospital in Altus. he was the son of Apolinar Gamez and Francis (Billarrial) Gamez. Edward attended Altus High School. He had been a resident of Altus for 42 years. He worked for Hillibuton Services for many years where he worked in the USA and overseas. Edward was working for Bar-S at the time of his death.

Survivors include his mother, Francis Gamez of Altus, one sister Gracie Gamez-Edgar of Altus, two brothers, Ruben Gamez and Judy of Altus, Oklahoma; Daniel Gamez and Christy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 4 nephews, Brian, Tyler, Joshua, and Seth Gamez; two nieces Brittnie Edgar and April Croy.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and one sister Anita Gamez.

services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday, April 24, 200` at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. John Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
